MSD Animal Health and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe reward 36 vet students with a USD 5000 grant each

MSD Animal Health and the Federation of Veterinarians of Europe (FVE) are proud to announce the 36 veterinary students selected for the 2018 Veterinary Student Scholarship Program. All the students will be rewarded with a scholarship of $5,000 US Dollars.

The scholarship will help these young veterinarians to focus on and enhance their academic experience and starting careers.

The Review Committee selected 36 students out of the 308 applications. The students selected come from the following countries: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey and the United Kingdom.

The successful collaboration with the MSD Animal health allows FVE to support and empower 36 veterinary students,” notes FVE President Rafael Laguens. “With this grant, they will have the opportunity to boost their academic experience and focus on studying and activities that will certainly contribute to the profession”.

The partnership between FVE and MSD Animal Health has provided scholarships for over 80 veterinary students in the last years, many of whom will surely become young leaders in the veterinary field.
