MSD Animal Health Announces New Leadership in EURAM Region

Robert Kelly brings deep expertise and knowledge of animal health industry

MADISON, N.J., May 9, 2022 – MSD Animal Health, a division of Merck & Co., Inc., Rahway,  N.J., USA (NYSE:MRK), announced today Robert (Rob) Kelly as the new leader of the company’s Europe, Russia, Africa and Middle East (EURAM) Region, beginning June 2022. Rob will be succeeding Dr. Hans Dittrich, who will be retiring later this year. Rob will be based in Dublin, Ireland.

Rob comes to MSD Animal Health with over 20 years of global experience in the animal health industry, having held senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and commercial leadership.  Most recently, he was responsible for all markets outside of the United States for Zoetis. During his tenure at Zoetis, he also held leadership roles in the United States and Asia Pacific markets. He began his career in animal health with Schering-Plough, now known as MSD Animal Health, as a marketing manager and assumed roles of increasing responsibility at Fort Dodge Animal Health and, subsequently, Wyeth Animal Health.

Rob is a graduate of Western Sydney University in Australia with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture, and Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Australia with a master’s degree in marketing.
